June 24, 2006 - It was another hot one out there today, and my voice has just about had it. With all the music going on around the area and with me having to relate my process to everyone that comes into my booth, by the end of the show tomorrow I may not be able to get a word out of my mouth. So on to the images. The first one is from early in the day, before they let the people come into the show. The second image is from later on when the high was around 96 degrees, and the kids were out in mass using the top end of the waterfall as a giant wading pool. I think most of the artist around me thought of the same thing. Well, tomorrow is the last day of the show, and then it's time to pack up and get on down the road. The reason I say this now is because we will not tear down till around 9:00 that night and it will be a while before I get to put anything down in here. So we'll see you later.

June 23, 2006 - Good evening or, good morning. I guess it all is in how you look at it. We go till 12:00 every night so by the time I get closed up and ride back to my room it's around 1:00 or so in the morning. When I left to go to the show this morning it was already 91 degrees, by this afternoon it was up in the mid 90's, and they say that by Sunday it could reach 100 degrees. So this afternoon as I went for a drink I went up this set of stairs where I was able to look out over the show from one side and look out over the town and up into the mountains from the other.

June 22, 2006 - Hola! from Salt Lake City. Well after a long night of setting up my booth, the first day of the show is here. There were no pictures from last night because I had left my camera at the hotel room, and it was a slow boring setup anyway. So the fair started at noon today and lasted till midnight, and in between we had a lot of people there. i didn't do any shots during the day, so I thought that I better get something for the site tonight so I went up this set of stairs to get this first shot of the fair from above. The second image is of a dragon floating around in the pool that is in front of the library that is in front of my booth. I thought that this image had an almost double exposure look to it. And that about does it for now, see you tomorrow.

June 13, 2006 - Another day out there on the road to Salt Lake City, but tomorrow it all ends, I'll be there by 1:00 or 2:00 in the afternoon and will be flying home that evening. It was a long uneventful day driving across the state of Nebraska and part of Wyoming, as you can see by the pictures there is not that much to see when you drive the interstate. If I would have more time I would have taken the county roads that lead you through the small towns with all there old brick buildings along the way. Well maybe next time. So now it's time to get some sleep, I still have 400 miles to go tomorrow.

June 12, 2006 - On the road and out the window. That's what the shots are about today. I am now sitting in Lincoln Nebraska for the evening and will head out early tomorrow morning and continue on my way to Salt Lake City. On the way here I crossed 2 rivers, the Mississippi, and the Missouri, with a lot of rolling hills and old farms in between. If I didn't have to get to where I'm going so quick I would spend some time out on the county roads exploring, but I gotta go. So that raps it up for tonight, we'll see you again tomorrow.

June 11, 2006 - Hi out there. Well another day with lots of people out there, and the weather wasn't bad either. It almost makes you forget the drenching we took from the rain at the setup for this festival. It could have been a little warmer though, it was only in the mid 60's for the high today. So, the pictures for today are from early in the day with all the people there, and the second picture is another in a long list of tearing down for another show. Now it's out on the road to get to Salt Lake City which is where my next show will be. But first a slight reprieve with a trip home, it will be the first time in a month, I wonder what it looks like. See you tomorrow.

June 10, 2006 - WOW! it feels nice to see lots of people out there again. After a very soggy setup this morning the clouds started to thin out and by noon there was some blue sky peeking through those clouds. Todays images are of all those people out there today. And that will do it for now, it's 11:00 p.m. and I've been up since 3:30 this morning, so now I will get some much needed sleep. See you tomorrow.

June 9, 2006 - Hello from Chicago. It's now Friday and I'm sitting in my room waiting for 4:30 this Saturday morning so I can go set up my booth for the weekend. Right now it's cloudy out there with some sprinkles of rain, it seems as though I just went through this last weekend. Well here we go again. The images of the day are from my drive into Chicago, this is one of my three favorite cities for mass traffic. Whenever I get back home, the traffic on the way to Seattle doesn't seem like that much. These shots were done around noon, and it is still a crawl through this big city.

June 8, 2006 - Well, here it is, Thursday and I'm one day closer to Chicago. Tomorrow I'll get into town and go check out where the show is and find out where I can park. This is my first time at this show and it's downtown and it's a Saturday morning setup. But in the mean time I'm still out there driving around. Another day of back roads, so on to the images, I liked this first one because while I was driving through this tree covered road it was around 90 degrees out there and this made it seem a little cooler. Later I was driving through this little town and came up to this leaning water tower, at leased it looked that way in my camera but not really it was just one of the many photographic tricks up my sleeve. Someday I'll reveal how I did it.

June 7, 2006 - Wow! I put on some long miles today, almost 200 of them. Ha, Ha, Today was one of those days when as long as you drive and hope that something will pop up as a photo op, nothing does. It was a nice drive, all on county roads where the speed limit was 50 and I did around 45. Through all of this I did manage to get a few shots, like these two barns. Other that that it was just a nice slow day going down the road.

June 6, 2006 - Hello to all of you out there. Not much to report today, I only made it up the trail around 80 miles today. I did get another train though, I think I must have around six or seven of them now. But we'll have to wait till I get back home before I will see if they will all work for what I do. So, since trying to put the trains on here would not work because they are to long, I decided that I would put up some more flowers for you to look at. Hopefully, tomorrow I will have some other stuff for you to look at. so for now this is it, by.

June 5, 2006 - Hi again. If you turned your head while you were on line reading my Out the Window page you probably turned back to see a new page. That's because I had to write 2 pages today to catch up again. So now I'm on my way to Chicago, but along the way I was able to get some great shots out on the road. The first image is from the Trolly Museum just outside of Pittsburgh. I got this shot as the trolly was coming back into the yard where it will pick up more people and take them out on a ride to get the feel of what it was like to ride them back in the early days of mass transit. The second image is from Dennison, Ohio, where there is a Depot Museum and this old locomotive is setting. Pretty cool. And it's huge too. So now I'm setting in New Philadelphia, OH and tomorrow will inch my way closer to my destination of Chicago which is where my next show is this coming weekend. I hope this is it, after 2 shows where it was in the 90's and then to go to a show where it was raining all weekend and only a high of 65 degrees, it would be nice to have one that is just right.

June 4, 2006 - Hi! this whole weekend has been catch up, and not the type you put on your steak. The show was finally over at 9:00 that night, and by the time I got out of there it was 3:00 am in the morning. This was a tough weekend this time around, We had rain every day and on Sunday the high was only around 65 degrees with some wind and, of course, more rain. The images from today are of at one point in the day where we did have some people come out in between the rain, and of the tear down late that evening, or should I say early that morning.

June 3, 2006 - Well, we found out where all the people were hiding, right behind my booth under the overhang of the Hilton Hotel. It was another day of liquid sunshine. as you can see by the images from today, they look just like yesterday. So lets try one more day tomorrow and see if we can change the way that my images look, maybe some sunshine and some more people.

June 2, 2006 - Hello, I had some weird things going on with my laptop these past few days so that's why this page has been slow in coming, but things are better so here we are. Todays images are of all the people that are not here at the show. Most of the day I had about 3 inches of water going through my booth. So there isn't much else to say so we'll see you later.

June 1, 2006 - So, after another day of driving I end up here in Pittsburgh, standing in line at 9:30 at night waiting for my package to be able to go set up my booth for the start of the Three Rivers Art Festival. These are the images that I shot while standng in line. After that I went to set up my booth and didn't get out of there until 3:00 in the morning
